Duties and Taxes

UK & EU

Cernucci ships to our UK & EU customers with duty & taxes paid, so you will not be charged any customs fees.

International

Customers are liable for any duties & taxes incurred once your parcel reaches the destination country (e.g., US, Canada, Australia and countries in Europe outside the EU).


Failed Delivery

If the package cannot be delivered due to incorrect shipping information or refusal to collect, the package will be returned to Cernucci at the customer’s expense. Costs include:

  • Shipping fees
  • Duty and taxes incurred

These costs will be deducted from the refund.


Items Not Received or Missing

If your delivery is lost or missing, you must submit a claim within:

  • 10 days of order date (Evri)
  • 7 days of order date (Royal Mail)
  • 14 days for EU orders

Items Not Received but Marked as Delivered

We do not refund or replace items marked as delivered by the courier. For this reason, we recommend shipping to a secure address.

How do I track my order?

You can track the status of your order here

Once you place an order with us we'll keep you updated every step of the way. 

  1. Order Confirmation -  You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as your order is placed.
  2. Shipping Confirmation - When your order ships from our fulfilment centre, you'll get another email to confirm this. This email will contain your tracking number for the shipment. Please note: tracking links can take a few hours to become active after your order has shipped.
  3. Carrier Confirmation - You will receive an email from our courier team when your item is collected and again when it's out for delivery.

For standard orders, please allow up to 2 working days from the time of purchase to receive your shipping confirmation before getting in touch with us.

When will my order be shipped?

Our warehouse operates Sunday to Friday. Orders placed before 9pm GMT will be shipped the same working day when using Standard Delivery and Next Day Delivery.

Orders placed after 9pm GMT or on weekends/public holidays will be shipped the next working day.

Standard Delivery typically takes 1-4 days from the date your order leaves our warehouse.

If you placed your order before the cut-off and haven’t received a shipping confirmation within one working day, please contact our Customer Support team — we’ll be happy to investigate for you.

What are the shipping times and charges?

We aim to get your order to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. Shipping times begin from the moment you place your order – not just when it’s dispatched. This includes the time it takes us to pick, pack, and process your items at our fulfilment centre before handing them off to our delivery partner.

We use Evri for all UK deliveries and FedEx for all international deliveries to ensure a fast, secure, and reliable service.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow its journey to your door. You can track your parcel here. 

What if my package gets lost in transit?

At Cernucci, we’re committed to making sure your order arrives in perfect condition.

If your order is lost in transit or an item arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your order number and any relevant details including photos of any damage. 

If you purchased Ship Protect at checkout, you’re fully covered for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Just reach out to the Ship Protect team who will take care of it quickly for you. If you purchased Ship Protect you will have received a separate email which contains the contact details. 

For all other orders, claims must be submitted within the timeframes below based on your courier:

  • Evri – within 10 days of your order date
  • FedEx – within 14 days of your order date

Will I be charged customs or import fees?

I've been charged a customs fee

Customs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

If a shipment is refused due to unexpected import fees, we’re unable to refund the original shipping cost, and return shipping charges won’t be reimbursed. Since customs policies vary by country, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an international order.

While most customs clearance takes about 1 working day, additional checks can sometimes cause delays beyond our estimated delivery times.

To help your order clear customs smoothly, we suggest:

  • Include a valid phone number at checkout so customs can contact you directly if needed. This number will appear on your commercial invoice.
  • Don’t refuse the shipment or ignore carrier requests related to duties or taxes. Most carriers will hold your parcel for around 5 days before returning or discarding it.

If you believe you've been incorrectly charged customs fees, please check with your local customs authority first. Then, reach out to our Customer Support team, who’ll be happy to help you further.

What if I can't find my parcel?

If you are unable to locate your parcel despite receiving a delivery notification from the carrier please contact our customer service team and request an investigation.

Investigations into missing parcels must be submitted within the timeframes below based on your courier:

  • Evri – within 10 days of your order date
  • FedEx – within 14 days of your order date

Click & Collect

We offer a Next Day or Standard Click & Collect service via Evri Parcelshop and Locker network. This service is available for our UK mainland customers only. (Postcode exclusions apply)

What is Parcelshop Click & Collect?

Our Click & Collect service allows you to have your order delivered to a local parcelshop partner (This could be a post office, shop or locker). You will receive an email once your chosen location has received your order and is ready for collect. Please note your location's opening hours.

What if I want to cancel my order?

Once your order has been placed the packing and dispatch process happens very quickly. If you cancel your order you will need to still collect your order from your chosen drop off and return it back to us using our returns portal. 

How do I return my Click & Collect order?

If you need to return your order you can so using our returns portalOur normal returns process can be followed to return your parcel. 

 My Parcelshop doesn’t have my order?

Please do not collect your parcel until you have had a confirmation email stating that your parcel is ready to collect. If you have not collected your parcel within 10 days of your parcelshop receiving your order OR within 3 days of your parcel being located to your chosen locker then it will be returned back to us. If you have received the email within the timeframes above and your parcelshop location does not have your parcel please contact our customer service team.

Can I change my Parcelshop location after my order has been placed?

Once your order has been placed a unique code is generated for your chosen location and cannot be changed.
